Welcome Message

The 64th Japan Society for Neonatal Health and Development Satoshi Ibara MD, PhD Director Perinatal Medical Center, Kagoshima City Hospital

It is great pleasure for us to welcome you to 64th Congress of Japan Society for Neonatal Health and Development (JSNHD)to be held from November 27th(Wed.)-29th (Fri.) at SHIROYAMA HOTEL Kagoshima in Kagoshima city, Japan. This congress will be organized in conjunction with The 3rd Taiwan-Korea-Japan Joint Congress on Neonatology at November 27th(Wed.) and The 29th Annual meeting of Japan Academy of Neonatal Nursing(JANN) from November 28th (Thu.)-29th(Fri.) at the same site.

Our theme of this congress is " INTACT SURVIVAL".

These decade the survival rate of low birth infant even less than 1000g and sick newborn infants was improved dramatically. The reason why the regionalization of perinatal medicine were adjusted , many kinds of management such as the control of body temperature ,the prevention of IVH (intraventricular hemorrhage) and PVL (periventricular leukomalacia),Respiratory care(Surfactant replacement therapy,PTV,CPAP,HFO, ECMO, NO inhalation, etc.) ,Brain cooling for HIE(hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy) and blood purification were progressed. So we will discuss the future of these managements for intact survival of the newborn infants.

On the other hand infants who has sequela unfortunately exist. Then we will think about the cares of those infants such as rehabilitation, respiratory care, nutrition and family care with nurses and co-medical professionals.

We hope that this congress of JSNHD will give you many aids for saving newborn infants perfectly. We are looking forward to meet you in Kagoshima during this congress (Nov.27th-29th,2019).
